Just in time for Christmas! The Board of Directors of the Foundation for Daviess County Public Schools is pleased to announce our Wish List Program.
The Foundation’s Wish List Program is featured on the Foundation web site at www.FoundationForDCPS.org – Give to the Foundation – Wish List.
The Wish List Program features ‘wishes’ from our schools ranging from $28 to $999 and contains wishes from books for kindergarteners to OCTC Discover College tuition and various classroom and school needs in between. Wishes are placed on the site in the order they are received and are identified by School, Funding Needed, Project Number and Project Name. There are descriptions for each project of what the funding will provide in the classrooms.
Each project has a direct link to the on-line giving portal. Checks can also be mailed directly to the Foundation’s treasurer.
“We are very excited to announce this needs-based program to benefit our schools,” said Vicki Quisenberry, Executive Director for the Foundation. “The website provides us a tremendous opportunity to allow our generous supporters to quickly find a need that coincides with their interest and immediately support that interest financially.”
Health, literacy and technology are the Foundation’s focus areas. The Foundation for Daviess County Public Schools mission is to attain and allocate resources to DCPS to enhance, enrich and supplement learning opportunities for its students, staff and the community.
