Can you hear it? The thundering herd of thousands of shoes, the screams of "I got it!", and the groans of missed items? Me neither, because I'll be sound asleep. Here's five other things you can do on Black Friday.

1. SLEEP!

As previously stated, you should be in a nice, comfy slumber after your big Thanksgiving feast. Though I may not be a great sleeper, the time when I'm sound asleep at my best is when the rest of you will be on the road or waiting in line.

2. EAT LEFTOVERS

Yeah, while the rest of your family is out scrambling for deals and eating on the go, you can sit down, in your pajamas or other comfortable clothing or your choosing and fill your plate with as many leftovers as you want! I would go directly for the leftover desserts.

3. SEE A MOVIE

Talk about empty theaters, you may want to sneak in that 'Mockingjay Part 2" screening on Black Friday, so you can relax a little, however, this could be an iffy choice especially if you are part of the non-shopping crowd. If you are not interested in going out at all...

4. BINGE WATCH TV SHOWS/MOVIES

Ah yes, just give me a wi-fi signal, a streaming service, and I'm set. Oh, don't forget the leftovers! This is the time of year when the streamers roll out a ton of new shows. For example, Netflix just started streaming the new Marvel series 'Jessica Jones'; it's really good, I'm about half-way through.

5. DECORATE FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Yes, you may have done this already, but why??? I'm kidding. This is a perfect day to start unpacking the tree, the lights, the stockings, the lights, the Nutcrackers, the lights, etc. And you don't have to go big, maybe just a few touches here and there until the calendar hits December.
