It's Week #2 at Friday After 5 in downtown Owensboro and this week's lineup is tremendous. It even features a young man from Fordsville who was featured prominently on Season 20 of American Idol.

Jagoe Homes Riverfront Live at the Holiday Inn (6pm-9:30pm)
The Region's Premier Groove Band! Soul Circus, who are based in Louisville, "combine classics along with 80's, 90's and today to bring Groove and Grease to the masses!"
Atmos Amphitheater at McConnell Plaza (6:30pm-8:30pm)
Of course, Dakota was just featured on the most recent season of American Idol. He nearly made the Top 24 on the show, but ended up being the final male contestant cut. However, Dakota's appearance on the show earned him a lot of fans here in the tristate and around the U.S.

Romain Subaru Overlook Stage (7pm-9pm)
2 Miles Back is a band promising to bring our Friday After 5 audience "classic rock with a twist of blues."
Ruoff Party Stage (8:30pm-11:30pm)
DJ Shay is bringing her trademark dance party to the Pier!
Lure (7pm to 10pm)
High Fidelity is bringing their brand of rock to downtown Owensboro and will be playing at the delicious Lure restaurant.
This week's Friday After 5 theme is "Celebrate the Great Outdoors!"
And, don't forget, WBKR has once again teamed up with Friday After 5 and the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center for our Friday Night Fight talent contest. Our first open audition is actually set for next Friday evening (June 3rd) on the Ruoff Party Stage. Auditions are open to anyone over the age of 13 and our grand prize is incredible. The grand champ will get $1000 and the right to headline the Ruoff Party Stage on the Pier on the season finale night of Friday After 5.
