Holiday In The Park Returns To Legion Park In Owensboro (PHOTOS)

The holidays are arriving very soon!  Something super fun & festive for the family to do is head to Legion Park and enjoy Holiday in the Park!

An event that is very near and dear to my heart.  When I worked for the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department this event belonged to me.  I loved watching the City of Owensboro Maintenance crews put up the displays and transform Legion Park into a mystical and magical wonderland for the holidays.

Take a half-mile stroll the park while watching dancing trees, thousands of lights, and listening to Holiday music.

It only takes about 20-30 minutes to walk through the park.  My kids have loved this tradition for many, many years!

There are several lighted displays with themed characters, animals, and more.

Holiday in the Park begins Thursday, November 21, and runs through,Thursday, January 2.
