Holiday World's annual coaster enthusiast event, HoliWood Nights, is coming up this weekend.  In conjunction with that wildly popular event (that's attended by enthusiasts from all over the worlds), the park is also hosting a special event on Saturday that seeks to raise money for Give Kids the World Village.  It's called Coasting for Kids.

Holiday World's Coasting for Kids event starts with registration at 8am Saturday, August 29th.  There's an award ceremony that begins at 8:45 and that will honor top individual and top team fundraisers.  At 9am, participants get exclusive ride access on Thunderbird, Voyage, Turkey Whirl and Gobbler Getaway. At 10am, the group will get exclusive access on Holiday World's newest water coaster, Cheetah Chase.

As of this article, Holiday World's Coasting for Kids participants have raised over $7600 for this year's event, but there is still time to register and participate.  You can register as an individual, create a team or register as part of an already existing team.  To sign up, CLICK HERE.  If you register, you are simply asked to raise a minimum of $100.  It will be $100 well spent.

All proceeds benefit Give Kids the World Village, an 84-acre resort that provides cost-free, week-long vacations for critically ill children at Central Florida's iconic theme parks and attractions. Plus, they receive lodging at "a storybook resort unlike anyplace else on Earth."

If you cannot attend Coasting for Kids but would still like to make a magical donation, you can do so HERE.  The donation, of course, is tax deductible.
