With Sunday alcohol sales increasing around Kentucky, that possibility has now approached Owensboro's doorstep.

And according to tristatehomepage.com's Mike Pickett, city officials are considering it.

Right now, restaurants where food accounts for at least 50% of their sales can sell alcohol.

Any new proposed ordinance would expand that capability for certain businesses.
