Kentucky Among States Invaded by So-Called ‘Super-Lice’
When I was a kid, going back to school meant many things, including checks for scabies and lice. Gives me the creeps just thinking about it.
So I guess that means I now have the "super-creeps" since Kentucky is among a ridiculous 42 out of 48 states that have been invaded by soc-called "super-lice."
And these aren't the kind with a big red "S" on their chests.
No, these are the kind that are resistant to conventional treatments, the kind you can buy over the counter.
These lice have mutated, according to studies, to the point where repeated exposure to the chemicals used to eradicate them have made them immune to said chemicals.
Geez.
The map I saw, in which the blue colored states represent those with the new super pests, pretty much explains it all.
Yep, I'd call what I have now the "super-creeps."
