Part of Kentucky governor Andy Beshear's daily briefing regarding COVID-19 and its impact on the Commonwealth was devoted the new number of cases, which is now 35.

Yesterday he ordered all "public facing businesses" to close by 5PM Wednesday afternoon.

In today's press conference, according to WHAS-Louisville, he added that all Kentucky gaming licenses will be suspended and that all bingo halls must close immediately.

In his briefing, he mentioned that bingo tends to attract those in higher risk groups and that strict safety measures dictate their closure.

Beshear said, also, that all schools are now eligible for non-traditional instruction.

Additonally, all elective medical procedures must stop after today.
