Kids Get in Free at the Newport Aquarium for ‘Winter Family Days’ [VIDEO]

The temperatures outside may be sub-freezing or sometimes warm, but the temp inside the Newport Aquarium in Newport, KY is always set at a comfortable 72 degrees. The aquarium has announced the return of 'Winter Family Days' and each child ages 2-12 with a full-priced adult will get in FREE through Sunday, February 26th! 

Tickets for 'Winter Family Days" are available at the the aquarium ticket window, online at NewportAquarium.com or by calling 800-406-FISH (3474).In addition to Shark Bridge, Gator Alley, Frog Bog, Surrounded by Sharks, and the Kroger Penguin Palooza, the aquarium has also added a limited-time-only-meet-and-greet opportunity with Jim Henson's Splash and Bubbles from the new PBS show of the same name.

The aquarium will be open one hour early (9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern) on the following dates:

Saturdays in January and February (beginning this Sautrday, January 14th) followed by Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend, and on Presidents Day Weekend.
