Look Out for Fake Chicago Cubs Memorabilia, Sports Fans!

108 years of dry spell for the Chicago Cubs have come to an end this year! Your BBB® has some bad news about this, unfortunately. As fans from all around the country celebrate the historic victory, the FBI warns them to be on the lookout for fake Chicago Cubs memorabilia:

“Following the great season the Chicago Cubs just had, counterfeiters may see this time as a good opportunity to take advantage of the fans’ excitement and distribute questionable items to the public. These items can include everything from autographs to game-used items such as jerseys, bats, balls, and caps. We can also see a flood of unlicensed T-shirts and other items commemorating this special year,” says FBI Chicago Special Agent (SA) Brian Brusokas.
