Owensboro Police Department Responds To Firearm Discharge Near Apollo High School

The Owensboro Police Department responded to a firearm discharge near Apollo High School at 12:55 p.m. today.According to Public Information Officer, Michael Hathaway, Apollo High School was placed on lock-down due to the close proximity of the incident.

Officers do have one individual in custody.  They will be interviewing the person of interest and giving a detailed update at a later time.

No injuries reported.
