Saturday September 3 at 5pm everyone is invited to the 9th Annual Family Freedom Fireworks Festival at Panther Creek Park

. The event had been scheduled for July 3rd but was cancelled due to storms. Labor Day weekend is the rescheduled date.

Daviess County Parks Director Ross Leigh has promised an entire evening filled with entertainment. "While the Festival begins at 5pm, the park will be open all day if families want to fish, hike, or visit the spray park", said Ross during a radio interview Tuesday on the Joe Lowe Morning Show.

The Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance Agents in Daviess County are giving away a flat screen TV (you can register to win by visiting any Farm Bureau Insurance Office this week) and will be handing out FREE HOTDOGS to the first 1,000 people.

Space Walk of Ohio Valley Inflatables will be set-up with arm bands costing $10 for unlimited access during the event.

The Daviess County Pork Producers will be cooking with other Food vendors also selling food. You are also invited to picnic and bring your own food and drink. (Please no Alcohol)

The Bluegrass band, UP-N-Gone will play from 7-9:15pm with Fireworks scheduled for 9:15.

Following the Fireworks Show there will be a FREE family friendly Animated Movie shown on the 35 foot Big Screen.

As usual the event features Free Parking and a great time for everyone.

The event is hosted and presented by Daviess County Fiscal Court, Parks and Recreation and Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance.
