Perfect Summer Days at Colorful Pick Your Own Flower Farm in Wisconsin
If you love fresh flowers throughout your home, especially during the spring and summer, this is the perfect place to go and you should absolutely bring the kids.
It's an absolute blessing that our summer calendar has some room left for some last-minute ideas. I'm going to be filling an open Saturday afternoon on the calendar with a few fantastic hours with my wife and our two daughters.
Visiting arboretums and botanical gardens is always great for my flower-loving daughters but being able to pick your own may become our 6-year-old's new favorite thing to do. She's always pulling pretty things out of the ground when we're walking around, and it's often from someone else's yard, so this whole U-Pick flower farm idea sounds fabulous to us. Plus, I love short road trips with my family no matter what we do.
Before I show you this flower farm, I have to share what I found when I Googled the town where it is located.
Just a 90-minute drive from Rockford, to the little town of Franksville, Wisconsin. This town of around 2,000 has a little spot in the food history books.
Franksville Fun Fact:
In the early 1900s... the Frank Pure Food Company was established... they built a plant in Franksville... the Frank/Franksville thing is just a coincidence, according to Wikipedia. A Reuben sandwich wouldn't be the same without what they made in that plant.
Alright, let's go pick some flowers.
The Flower Bee U-Pick Flower Farm
As onlyinyourstate.com shared, the Flower Bee calls itself 'field to vase' and it is 100% accurate.

"Sunflower selfies" was what I just heard from the other room.
everything wonderful about flowers, bees, butterflies, farms, and nature!

Really sounds like a fun way to spend a couple of sun-filled hours, doesn't it?
My feeling is that every room looks better with a little purple in it.
