The Blue Angels have returned to Owensboro.  This weekend marks their second appearance in the Owensboro Air Show and you'll be able to see them in action Saturday and Sunday downtown over the mighty Ohio River, flying high (and FAST) above the famed Blue Bridge.

Yesterday, the Blue Angels arrived in town for the event and kicked off their stay in Owensboro with an epic practice run.  My friend Chris Conley, who owns 270 Drones Aerial Imagery, was able to capture some absolutely breathtaking and inspiring photos of them.  These photos are insane and demonstrate the incredible precision and majesty of the Blue Angels.

And be sure to be on the lookout for the U.S. Coast Guard's HC-144.  It's being piloted by LTJG Lindsey Norwood, who's originally from Henderson, Kentucky and will become just the second woman in the history of the Owensboro Air Show to pilot a plane in the event.
