Postage Stamp Prices Go Up January 22nd

If you have any Forever stamps laying around, you better hang onto them before this coming Sunday. The price of a First-Class stamp will increase from $0.47 to $0.49. 

The price increase was proposed in October. Postcard prices will remain at 34 cents. Each additional ounce charge for letters and flats will remain at 21 cents.

The Postal Service use no tax money for operating expenses and relies on the sales of its products and services to fund its operations.
