It's Spring Break for many school students here in western Kentucky. Mary-Katherine Maddox of Owensboro, KY, remembers her first Spring Break trip. That's when she competed in a kids' talent show on a Carnival cruise.

An Owensboro family is sharing fun photos of the Carnival Mardi Gras. Carl and Lena Stewart sailed on the original in the 70s. Their granddaughter just set sail on the new ship.
