Exciting news from the Wendell Foster Center. After hosting the very successful Wendell Foster 5K in June, organizers have announced a brand new event for downtown. On Saturday, March 23rd, Wendell Foster will host its first ever half marathon.
Turnout for the inaugural Wendell Foster 5K was incredible. Roughly 275 runners tackled the downtown Owensboro course and we have the official results from the race. And, yes! Yours truly snagged a second place medal in the Men 45-49 age division!!
The Wendell Foster Center focuses on providing individuals with developmental disabilities many opportunities in life. This Friday they will be hosting a sale to help with their Christmas Fund.
