Winter Storm Warning

The National Weather Service in Paducah has now issued a WINTER STORM WARNING for the Tri-State in addition to the existing WIND CHILL WARNING.

A winter storm warning has been issued for western Kentucky and southwestern Indiana.

The National Weather Service in Paducah has now issued a Winter Storm Warning for parts of the WBKR listening area. The emphasis is on heavy snow.

As you likely know, parts of the tristate are under a Winter Storm Warning tonight.  Eyewitness News Meteorologist Wayne Hart says we could experience near blizzard-like conditions.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for parts of the WBKR listening area.  That area includes Owensboro, Evansville and surrounding areas.  The rest of the tristate is under a Winter Weather Advisory.  Here's the latest forecast.

And just like that, parts of the Tri-State, including Owensboro and Evansville, are now under a Winter Storm Warning.

Well, we have heard all week long about the possibility of snow this weekend.  Now, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the northern parts of the WBKR listening area.  Areas south of the river, including Owensboro, are under a Winter Weather Advisory .  Here's the latest forecast and what we can expect from this, the official return of winter weather.

According to the calendar, spring begins a week from Tuesday, but not before Mother Nature unleashes one more taste of winter.
