Volunteers of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce Race the Clock to Tell the Chamber Story — 70+ new members in one day!

Yesterday, the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce kicked off the 2011 Membership Event by adding over 70 new members in one day! Over 100 volunteers are gathering for two and a half days working against the clock and against each other to sign up new chamber members and create a greater community awareness of the important role of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce. The event is organized by Jimmy Cusano and a group called Your Chamber Connection. Their specialty is high energy membership campaigns that allow volunteers to conduct “out of the box” membership fun while building the membership base.

The event will continue with two sessions today at Western Kentucky University Owensboro campus and conclude with a celebration toast/roast Thursday at Republic Bank on Frederica.
