What Kmart In-Store Music Sounded Like During the Christmas of 1974 [Video]

I'm sure many of you hit the stores last night and this morning to take advantage of huge Black Friday deals and door busters.  And, I'm quite certain most of the stores you went into were playing Christmas music.  Well, here's a blast from the past.  Here's how Kmart sounded during Christmas way back in 1974!

Of course, not only has Christmas music changed since 1974, so has Kmart.  Sadly, both Owensboro locations have closed.  So have others in the tristate.  As a matter of fact, only two stores remain in the entire state of Kentucky.  There's a Kmart in Erlanger and one in Somerset.

There are just five locations left in Indiana: Elwood, Kokomo, Richmond, Valparaiso and Warsaw.

The closest Kmart location to the tristate is now in Lebanon, TN (1443 West Main Street).
