I can't believe it was just four years ago when this happened at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green.

Eight Corvettes were victims of a sinkhole, those are quite common around the area, and the story and the footage received national attention. One of the damaged cars was a 1962 Tuxedo Black.

Over the past year, repairs to the Museum-owned Corvette have been performed in-house. The '62 was donated to the Museum in 2011 by a gentleman who had owned the Corvette for just over 50 years.

Most of the restoration has been available for visitors to see the process.

On Monday at 9:00 a.m. CST, the 1962 Corvette will be returned  to its original pre-sinkhole display space in the Skydome in a public ceremony. Don't worry if you can't make it, the reveal will be streamed live on the Corvette Museum's Facebook page.
