Apollo Eagle Stadium Vandalized In Advance of Annual Daviess County Game (PHOTO)

Reports are surfacing that Eagle Stadium at Apollo High School has been vandalized in advance of the annual Apollo vs. Daviess County Football Game.We were able to obtain this photograph which shows the "A" at Apollo has been spray painted red!  The schools have enjoyed a decades-long rivalry.  And instances like these, though not encouraged or endorsed, are not out of the ordinary.

The annual Apollo Eagle vs. Daviess County Panther Football Game is set to take place at 7 p.m. tonight at Eagle Stadium.

Tonight's game has extra importance because the teams are playing for the City-County Championship.

Daviess County Public School Board Officials say, the game will take place as planned and fans from both teams are encouraged to show their school spirit and come to cheer on their teams.
