I am originally from Hartford, Kentucky. I spent a lot of my early years tagging along with my Dad to various sporting events, so needless to say, I love sports! My favorite sports are basketball, baseball, football, and tennis. I love to play tennis whenever the weather permits. My favorite team bar none is the St. Louis Cardinals. I love TV way too much! A partial list of my favorite shows would include Stranger Things, Bob's Burgers, RuPaul's Drag Race, Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Real Housewives of: New York City, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Orange County, Salt Lake City, Only Murders in the Building, you get the idea. My music taste is varied, I like k.d. lang, Lady GaGa, Reba, Dolly, Loretta, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ryan Adams, John Prine, Madonna, Kate Bush, Radiohead, and lots more. My hobbies include reading, writing, walking, spending time with my family and friends, and cheering on my niece Zoey at her soccer matches. I started my broadcasting career in 1998 at Western Kentucky University and I have been involved in radio ever since.

Facebook Protect is Real But Do You Need It?
How do you use Facebook? Wait, they are actually called Meta now but you can still log in to Facebook on your computer or use the FB app on your phone. I usually check it on my phone, but when I need to write something, at this moment, I log in on my laptop. I would say for about a month now when I go to log in online, I'm asked to take an additional step to verify my account. There are a couple of options to verify, I usually choose to enter a code that's sent to my email.
Exploring the Craze That Was the Beanie Babies
I think the first time I received a Beanie Baby was from my late Uncle Reggie. He used to run a country store at Lake Malone but he would also go antiquing and look for new fads. I think every Christmas or special occasion, like when I graduated from college, when he was still active with the store, I got a Beanie Baby.

The First of Eight Whataburger Locations in Nashville Area Opens Wednesday
The first time I heard of or saw a Whataburger was in the 1994 movie 8 Seconds. Luke Perry played bull rider Lane Frost and in the scene, Lane takes his girlfriend Kellie to the restaurant on a date. I can't remember the conversation but he asks "are you going to finish your 'Whatachickn'?" My interest was piqued in overdrive.
