Bark in the Park Saturday for Cancer Society
Pack up the babies and grab the ......dogs. Yes the dogs! If your dog is bored staying indoors except to ...well you know. Let us make a suggestion. Attend the Daviess County Bark in the Park this Saturday, August 20, at Panther Creek Park. Bark in the Park is a fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society.
Simply put, you bring your dog, walk for the Cancer Society they stay for some fun games and contests including bobbing for hot dogs. There is a full schedule of events planned. Cost is $25 and includes a t-shirt for the dog owner, bandana for the dog and each additional dog is only $10.
Registration begins at 8am at the Kuegel Shelter by the spray park. At 9am it's the Blessing of the Dogs followed by the walk from 9:15 till 10am.

The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.
