The Business/Entrepreneurship Academy of Community Campus is looking for members of the Class of 2014 (current high school sophomores) attending Apollo, Daviess County, Hancock County, Owensboro, Owensboro Catholic or Trinity high schools who are interested in future careers as entrepreneurs.

Guidance counselors at the Community Campus participating high schools have identified students who met benchmarks scores on their PLAN tests (PLAN is the 10th grade assessment leading up to the ACT assessment) and made recommendations based on students’ career interest surveys.

“However, true entrepreneurs don’t always fit a traditional business model,” said Marcia Carpenter, DCPS College and Career Readiness coordinator. “We are looking for parents who might recognize the entrepreneurial spirit in their child, and encourage him or her to apply.”
