Craig Morgan lost his son in a drowning accident in 2016 and it changed his life forever. His new song, "The Father, My Son and the Holy Ghost," is so moving and inspirational. Anyone who has lost someone they love, will connect with the lyrics.

Years ago, I got to meet Craig, and he's just a beautiful soul. As a ten year Army veteran, he tirelessly works to support our military and our veterans. In 2018, he earned the Army’s Outstanding Civilian Service Medal, for his dedication to our men and women in uniform. It is the U.S. Army’s highest civilian award and a huge honor. Morgan also supports St. Jude Children's Hospital, along with many other charitable causes. Beautiful soul indeed.

Blake Shelton was the first to get behind the song and to help his good friend out. With one tweet from Blake last month, the song topped the iTunes all-genre chart. Blake shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show how much the song means to him. And, how much Craig means to him. It was a beautiful moment when Blake came out to surprise his dear friend on the show this week.

You could tell that Craig was on the verge of tears throughout the entire performance. When his voice started to crack at the end, I was done. You could feel that his pain is still very raw. His good friend, Blake Shelton, along with Kelly Clarkson and Eva Mendes, were left speechless. There wasn't a dry eye in the audience. I guarantee that you'll be inspired too.

So, grab a tissue and get ready to push play.
