New Activities continue to add fun to the Downtown Owensboro Experience. This Saturday is no exception.

The City of Owensboro presents “Experience ICE” Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Riverfront Crossing in downtown Owensboro.

Interactive ice elements including building blocks, a graffiti wall and ice painting will be available for everyone to enjoy.

There will also be live ice sculpture demonstrations and Christmas ornament making.

The Owensboro Museum of Fine Art will have “Deck the Halls with Duct Tape,” and the Owensboro Museum of Science and History will be open with free admission.

Santa will be there for photo opportunities. Be sure to bring your camera. We will find out more about ICE when Tim Ross, Owensboro's Event Manager, will be on the Joe Lowe Morning Show during the 7a.m. hour. Tim will shed some light on this newest event for the city. Where the idea came from, who is participating and what the plans are for future years. Join us Thursday morning on 1490 WOMI.
