Kentucky Travel Industry Association Announces Spring 2012 Top 10 Festivals & Events!

The Kentucky Travel Industry Association announced the Top 10 Festivals & Events for Spring 2012. Included in the winning entries are International Bar-B-Q Festival and Friday After 5 from Owensboro!

The KTIA is a statewide association that represents all sectors of the state’s travel industry. Criteria for events include the popularity of the event, its impact on the local tourism economy, as well as cultural and historical significance. Events are submitted from across the state. The Owensboro Daviess County Convention & Visitors Bureau

submits events throughout the year for consideration.

The International Bar-B-Q Festival and Friday After 5 have both won this award in previous years. The CVB is proud to announce that they are again winners for Spring 2012 and congratulates both organizations for their dedication to putting on these great festivals each year!
