I've wondered what would go into the location where Fritz's BBQ used to be located on Crabtree in Owensboro and the wait is almost over. At the first of May, Gourmet Meals to Go will be taking it over. I'm a horrible cook so I'll need to take advantage and get some good ole' homestyle cooking!

I talked with Katie "Red", the owner, yesterday and she's very excited about the opportunity to bring healthy meals to Owensboro and to your family. She's been doing much of the cooking from her home so this new opportunity will enable her to reach many more people!

You can expect Gourmet Soups and Salads on the menu and daily "chalkboard" specials like Steak & Chicken dishes. If you have dietary restrictions, you can customize your meal plan to suit your lifestyle. She has an amazing diabetic menu in place for fresh and clean eating.

You can call ahead and get a customized meal for a special event or daily custom meals. Or, you can stop into the new location and get something to go off the menu from a professional chef. Red cooked over 400 meals last week for Easter. Wow!
