Local help center, OASIS (Owensboro Area Shelter and Information Services) is one of 500 finalists in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program, which wll award vehicles to 100 nonprofit organizations based on votes from the public.

1490 WOMI joins Owensboro Mayor Ron Payne and Daviess County Judge Executive Al Mattingly in encouraging the public to vote for OASIS before the end of the day today, Tuesday May 10.

You can do this at Toyota's Facebook Page online. Go to www.facebook.com/toyota. OASIS is one of five organizations for today's, day two, competition. The organization with the most votes will win.

Call your friends, email, stop by and show friends how to log on and vote. Let's bring home a new Toyota for OASIS.
