Kentucky State Police Raffling Off Brand New 2021 Chevy Camaro (PHOTOS)
The Kentucky State Police have the perfect stocking stuffer for anyone in your family this year. How about a raffle ticket that could win them a brand-new 2021 Chevy Camaro Convertible?!
I can see me now, they call my name, and boom I win and Momma is rolling up in a Chevy Convertible to all the consignment shops!
They are raffling off chances for the Camaro to benefit Trooper Island. Trooper Island is a totally free summer camp at Dale Hollow Lake for underprivileged boys and girls age 10-12 and hosted by the Kentucky State Police. The KSP invites over 500 kids to participate in actitivies such as; esteem-building activities designed to build good citizenship and positive relationships with law enforcement officers. They are totally run on donations each year and they depend on giving citizens to help them provide this service for the children.
The raffle tickets are just $10 each and all proceeds will go to Trooper Island. There will be a total of 35,000 tickets sold. Participants are giving two gifts when they purchase a ticket. The gift of a ticket to someone and the gift of camp to a child who may not otherwise be able to participate. The gift certificates used for stocking stuffers for the raffle are available through December 18.
The camaro is a new 2021 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Convertible and proceeds from the sales support the agency’s Trooper Island Camp for disadvantaged children. Coming from Don Franklin Chevrolet in Burkesville, Ky., this iconic Camaro is cloaked in a black exterior and gray, leather interior. It’s equipped with 6.2 liter V8 engine and a 10-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission that can go from 0-60 in 4.3 seconds.
The drawing will not take place until August 29, 2021, at the Kentucky State Fair.
