Meet Miss Piggy: Livermore the Pig’s New Best Friend [Photos]
Remember Livermore the Pig, who made news last year after he ended up in the Daviess County Animal Shelter? A few months back, I shared that my friend Gary Haire adopted him and gave him a forever home in Moseleyville! Well, now, there's a new development in the story. Livermore has a new best friend. Her name is Miss Piggy! Take a look at this beauty.
Miss Piggy (a.k.a. Porkchop) came to the farm over the weekend. And, as you can see in the photo below, she and Livermore are already getting along pretty well.
Livermore has been living with the Haire family since last May. And he absolutely loves it. He's also loving his new friend. According to Gary, they'll be together in the barn stall for now. However, when it gets warmer, he'll let them out in the barnyard where they can snort in the ground and roll around in the mud.
But don't worry. This brewing love story won't end with any piglets running around the farm in Moseleyville. Livermore was . . . how shall we say . . . taken care of (snipped) when he was temporarily housed at the Daviess County Animal Shelter.
