OLD HARTFORD ROAD CLOSED MONDAY, MAY 9

Monday, May 9 construction will continue on manhole castings for a Kentucky Department of Transportation paving project on Old Hartford Road.  The north bound lane of Old Hartford Road will be closed from Burlew Boulevard to Breckenridge Street.  Traffic will be detoured appropriately while maintaining local access.  Motorists are urged to use caution when driving in this area, and please obey all construction zone signing.

Another area of concern to motorists is the Scherm Road area. According to a news release from the City of Owensboro: Due to construction of the Scherm Ditch Phase III project, Scherm Road will be closed to thru traffic from Dickey Drive to Surrey Drive East Starting Monday May 9, 2011 and will remained closed until the end of the week. Please use caution and attention while driving in this area.
