COVID-19 Antibodies Screening

Screening for COVID-19 antibodies returns to the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center starting today, July 1st, 2021. It's a simple blood test that's administered to see if you've had a past infection with COVID-19, but it also helps in other ways. If you test positive for the antibodies in your blood, you could help our local hospitals' treatment of COVID-19 patients.

Stanley Fire Department Community Blood Drive

Also happening today is a Community Blood Drive at the Stanley Fire Department located at 7444 US-60 in Owensboro. The WKRBC Bloodmobile will be on hand accepting your blood donations. Stop by today from 4 PM until 8 PM to meet some local heroes and become a hero yourself by giving blood to save lives. The complete donation process only takes around 30 minutes.
