Fred May, Community President for US Bank commented, “Our community building partnership with the Owensboro Family YMCA helped us recognize a need for more education about the steps to building credit and owning a home. We knew an organized effort would be more efficient at addressing than going about our separate and individual daily business. This community task force was organized to bring information about credit repair and homeownership to our neighborhoods. It’s a delicate and very personal process that calls for exceptional guidance, and we want to make sure that those who need it possess the correct tools and feel comfortable about talking to the right people to help them through it.

Having the City of Owensboro, Owensboro Family YMCA and Kentucky Housing Corporation on board will help us provide information that private business normally doesn’t make available through this process. I’m overwhelmed with the enthusiasm from our business community to make these events a success.Through their generosity, each event will also feature free food and giveaways.”
