Daviess County (Ky) White Flag Policy In Effect Tonight
The Daviess County (Ky) Emergency Management Agency has issued a White Flag policy for tonight, Tuesday, January 12th, 2016. Due to the extremely cold weather conditions, citizens are being asked to get this information to those in our community who are homeless or in need of a safe, warm place to stay tonight.
Please contact the Pitino Shelter (number above) with questions. If you do not feel comfortable approaching someone who you feel may need help, call the Owensboro Police Department's dispatch line (270-687-8888) with the information and they can help get those who need shelter there.
