Daviess County Parks Hosting Take A Kid Outdoors Day

The Daviess County Parks Department will be hosting "Take A Kid Outdoors Day" at the Daviess County Gun Club this weekend.On Saturday, August 26, kids ages 8-15 (there are activities for ages 7 and under) will have the opportunity to learn firearm safety, ATV safety, shoot live firearms, and learn animal tracks and so much more!

Pre-registration is $5 and ends on August 23rd.  There will also be registration the day of the event starting at 8 a.m. for $7.

Lunch will also be provided for all registered children.  Please bring a lawn chair or something to sit on for lunch.
