Cindy Jean is the co-founder of Fresh Start for Women. She became the first supervisor for the Friends of Sinners Women’s house. She has been a major contributor in the recovery community as a leader in Celebrate Recovery and she also serves on the Women’s Residents Encounter Christ Board of Directors.

Cindy has a deep passion for helping others, especially women who have been in addiction and are now in recovery.

Fresh Start was started in 2006 with a vision to reach out to individuals who have conflict with criminal and civil law and become incarcerated. The goal is to foster character and transition back into the community.

Their mission is to provide transitional housing for women and children that is safe and affordable in an encouraging community environment. This program encourages women to reach forward to 'A New Normal.'
