Owensboro Commute Times To Be Longer Next Week

FREDERICA DOWN TO ONE LANE NEXT WEEK FROM 17TH TO 24TH ST.

Frederica Street will be closed starting July 21 for two weeks for sewer repairs. Traffic will be confined to one lane in each direction on Frederica Street from 17th Street to 24th Street.Additionally, Hill Avenue will be closed to thru traffic from Locust Street to Frederica Street, and Maple and Ford Avenue will be closed to thru traffic from St. Elizabeth Street to Frederica Street.

 Motorists are also reminded of major road work on Veach Rd. and Byers Ave., and the Scherm Road Ditch project.

 Various other small road and sewer improvement projects are continuing throughout the city. Officials ask that drivers use caution in work areas and obey signs and workers directions.
