
Who Knew Chautauqua Park Used To Have A Lagoon!? (Photo)
Chautauqua Park located directly across from Combest Pool on East Parrish Avenue has truly evolved over the years. From Lagoon to Skate Park!Chautauqua originally know as a community park on the east side of Owensboro was home to many community meetings. The park began as 32 acres covered with beauty and water (the lagoon). It eventually progressed adding a Community Center, Olympic size swimming pool, ball fields, picnic shelter, and park maintenance house.

The park is now home to the Travis Aubrey Skate Park.
