OWB Airport Director Bob Whitmer Talks Airport Improvements Pt.2

An excited airport director, Bob Whitmer continues talking about changes at the Owensboro Daviess County Regional Airport (OWB). In part two Bob discusses how the airport board has made some very smart decisions in the past decade to increase the size of the runway and flight facilities first before improving the terminal and other areas.

Whitmer also discusses how important it is to USE the airport as much as possible. He points out that if you dont use it, we could lose it when it comes to nonstop service to Orlando Florida and Las Vegas. He is also cautiously optomistic about a new air carrier for Owensboro within the next 60 days.
